Proven over thousands of laps on carpet. This protector shields the rear shock tower from tumble damage and hits, so you're replacing a cheap printed part instead of a tower.

Fitment & install

Fits the 6-dot rear tower on the Xray XB2. Mounts using the top two wing mount screws — depending on your setup, you may need slightly longer screws.

To be thick and durable enough to take real abuse, the protector also wraps around the shock mounts, and the fit there is deliberately tight. Take care when tightening in this area, it's supposed to hold the shock mounts for you so make sure to rotate them accordingly before tightening — snug is enough; overtightening can round the fit.

A note on printing

This is a functional race part. Durability depends on your filament, print settings, and printer — dial those in and it'll take a beating.
