Setup battery - Shorty size, 2 heights included

$7.06 AUD

Setup work with no battery in the car is setup work done wrong — ride height, droop, camber at rest, all of it changes with a pack in. Problem: your packs are on the charger, in the garage, or in the other bag exactly when you want to wrench.

This is a fake battery you fill yourself — nuts, bolts, whatever's in the drawer — until it weighs the same as your race packs. Drop it in when you come off the track, and the car sits at true race weight, ready for setup work anytime. Your packs charge; your car stays honest.

And because you fill it, it matches your packs — not some average. Weigh a pack once, match it once, done.

Could you CAD this yourself? Absolutely — it's a box shaped like a battery. We just already did it, it fits right, and we've genuinely never seen the idea anywhere. Five bucks says it's worth skipping the CAD session.

A note on printing

Easy print, no drama. As always: results depend on your filament, settings, and printer. Will need two M3 screws to complete the build.

License — personal use only
